Christina is a certified instructor through the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) and comprehensively trained through Polestar Pilates. Christina first discovered Pilates while at physical therapy recovering from 2 back surgeries over a decade ago. She was introduced to the importance of core control and learned about the equipment used in Pilates. Upon completion of physical therapy, Christina continued to use swimming as her sole source of exercise due to some residual weakness in her right leg, traditional forms of exercise seemed impossible due to these symptoms. Always keeping Pilates in the back of her mind, Christina became frustrated with her exercise restrictions and decided to pursue Pilates. She noticed huge improvements in her strength and function after just a short time, and the rest is history! Christina’s love for Pilates led her to complete her certification and now she is focused on helping others who think they cannot accomplish their goals due to injury. She is constantly working to refine her understanding of anatomy & injury with continuing education workshops and strives to bring playfulness and precision when working with her clients. Christina’s continuing education include Pre/Postnatal with emphasis on Diastasis Recti as well as OOV training, foam roller workshop and Wunda Chair workshop.
